Congratulations to Festiva Vacation Story & Photo Contest Winners!

Jack Wright, a Festiva Cruise Club member from Philadelphia, submitted a creative story in the form of a poem that captures the spirit of a Festiva Sailing Vacation in St. Maarten and paints a picture that makes us all wish that we were there now. The following is an excerpt:
The sand was like sugar, the sea was like glass
The fish were like rainbows, the stars were amass…
Trang and Quy Thanh Truong, Festiva Adventure Club members from Piedmont, OH, submitted the winning photo from a family vacation at Stormy Point Village in Branson, MO. This photo shows how a membership in the Adventure Club can not only benefit your immediate family but can also provide memorable vacations for your extended family and friends as well.

“We love Stormy Point in Branson so much that we brought our families from Virginia to a weekend getaway for a fun-tastic time. They had so much fun they want to stay there for a week of vacationing in Branson,” the Truongs said of their photos.
The first annual Festiva Vacation Story & Photo Contest was a great success, and we loved reading the stories and seeing the photos. We had 41 photo submissions from 19 different members and seven story submissions from six different members. The winner in each category receives a free week at a Festiva property.
In choosing the winners, we looked for creativity, originality and quality. Even more importantly, we gravitated towards the stories and photos that best represent what Festiva Hospitality Group is all about: generations of families coming together to make vacation memories that will last a lifetime.
We are happy to announce that Vacation Story & Photo Contest will be running again throughout 2010. Stay tuned for more information, and congratulations to this year’s winners!
